Today we traveled to Bali. Easy journey (~4-5hrs), swiftly through the airport and boarded buses for our journey to our hotel - Four Seasons Sayan. The bus ride could have taken a while but we had a police escort for our convoy of 10-15 small buses. It was impressive cutting our way through the dense traffic, scattering hundreds of mopeds along the way. On arrival we had the usual reception / dinner before our luggage arrived. Great hotel.
A highlight was we got to re-unite with Chris Rainier, our NGS photographer friend from previous trips. Our group had a fun evening reminiscing on all the previous adventures we had been on.
We lost another three hours of jet lag so sleeping and getting up early is becoming a challenge.
