We knew the journey to the Galapagos would be long and it was with some relief we arrived tonight in Guyaquil, Ecuador. We came via Miami where we spent last night. It was great to have our friends Kevin and Lisa along for company because this journey has been a bit long for the distance travelled. We’ll end up only 1 time zone away from California.
Tomorrow is the big day. Up at 5am, bags out for collection, breakfast, leave for the airport at 7am for an 8:15 flight. We arrive in the Galapagos at 8:45am (1 hour difference). Can’t wait!
Right now it’s 11:30pm so good night’s sleep is in order.
