Saturday, April 12. During lunch the ship sailed towards our next destination near the western coast of San Cristobal. It is a rocky islet known as Leon Domingo or, Kicker Rock in English. Technichally known as the remainder of a volcanic tuff cone, it is better described as a huge chunk of rock, several hundred feet high, that has uniquely cleaved in two resulting in a spectacularly unique experience.
Got to run now, we’re on our way from Guyaquil to Lima and they’ve called the flight. Will resume later.
